Sustainability - Recycling
We strive to recycle or reuse all waste streams generated when producing our products. We recycle masonry and concrete waste, by reprocessing (both post and pre-consumer) back into many block products. As such all our masonry waste, as well as many of our customers by back-hauling, is reprocessed back into new block. Landfills are expensive - why throw away products that can be reused. Wood pallets are rebuilt, wood waste goes to facilities which make mulch or other products. Water is recycled from grinding operations.
Masonry exhibits long life cycle benefits as well as providing structures that don't burn, give off gas toxins or require termite treatments. Masonry also is a great sound barrier.
